WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THIS E-BOOK
‘Your Roadmap to Digital Inclusion’ is made up of four instructive chapters, focused on the resource considerations for each stage of a typical digital accessibility program and how to integrate the disability community across your program:
Why We wrote this e-book
With nearly two decades of experience in digital accessibility, our goal is to provide program support by setting a clear and practical path that all businesses can follow to achieve and maintain accessibility conformance and usability for their digital channels. We hope that by providing this guidance, it will help accelerate the adoption of digital inclusion beyond the likes of Apple, Microsoft, and IBM and propel it into the mainstream digital world, benefiting millions of lives.
In the e-book, we focus on how to engage and guide resources across your organization in order to achieve your overall goals for digital accessibility. There is a lot of good existing content that covers the purely technical aspects of how to make digital properties accessible, so the focus of this e-book is to lay out a roadmap that your organization can follow to help you identify the key internal and external resources necessary for implementing and maintaining an effective digital accessibility program.
What you will learn
After reading this e-book, you will have a deeper understanding of how to plan, execute and maintain the accessibility of your digital channels. Our Chief Innovation Strategist, Jason Taylor, details a variety of techniques and program considerations that we have developed over the past 17 years of helping clients create inclusive digital experiences in all major industries. You will learn the different roles and responsibilities involved at each stage of a typical accessibility program and the best ways to motivate each role for on-going success. Additionally, we provide original best practices and real-world examples, which you can learn from and emulate with your own teams.
